If you are interested in advertising with flash banners, please supply your flash creative according to specifications listed below.

Default Backup Image for all

Flash Creative is Required:



All flash creatives require the use of a backup image that is the same dimensions as the Flash creative. The backup image will display instead of the Flash creative for users who do not have a Flash Player enabled. Only one backup creative per ad format is needed.

18fps or lower; 12fps standard recommendation


Provide creative in Flash 5 and above compatible. (Flash 8 is recommended due to compatibility issues with IE 7 browser)
Click Tracking

In order to click track Flash Creative, a "getURL" command and the token clickTag must be used in place of the click-through URL Flash File and MUST open in a new window ("_blank").

Please set the Actionscript in the button layer as shown below:

on (release) {

getURL(clickTag,"_blank");

}

If the button is in a sub-movie clip and not in the main movie, use:

on (release) {

getURL(_root.clickTag,"_blank");

}

Standard Recommendation: Use an invisible button layer matching the size of the creative with the following code: (inv_btn indicates the invisible button)

inv_btn.onRelease = function () {

getURL (_root.clickTAG,"_blank");

};

FLN will not accept flash creative that is not compliant to the requirements listed above.
